Obama - Poem by Ellory Mace

Man of Hope
and Eloquence

Painting
Visions that
we almost lost

Like King did -
O Yes, We Can

A Dream of all Times
A Dream of all Men

Hope
Change

Simple words
in a New mix

of Africa
and America

Man of Hope
Be the change

that you bring

'I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.'

Martin Luther King

Ellory, I'm sure he's a very nice person......, but.......,

    “OBAMA, THE CERTIFIED CLICHÉ EXPERT”

    Many wordsmiths write ‘em……,
    Redundant as they seem……,
    Like a reoccurring nightmare……,
Or an old, worn out, empty dream…….,
And like many decades before him……,
    This candidate recycles them……,
Over and over, time after time…..,
    Casting spells on the unknowing……,
Who don’t even have a clue or sign……,
Of what he’s saying or where they’re going…..,
Speaking constant phrases, trite and tired……
    Line, after line, after line…….,
    But he’s a politician, not a poet……,
So there’s no need for him to be…..,
    Innovative and fresh…..,
Or even for his words to rhyme…..! ! !

    …….Trade Martin, 2008.

    Ellory,

    God protect Obama
and God give him courage to stop promoting the illegal war in Afghanistan (Report) Reply
