O' Seraph Unkind Poem by ARPITA BHAGAT

O' Seraph Unkind

Part I

Inexplicable restlessness
Of an addict's kind
catalyzed by a seraph unkind
Bizarrely entraps my deprived mind
Aches from top to bottom
Shrivels me from deep inside
Shakes then my entirety
Sucking within lone doldrums

Peel my skin
then sprinkle some potash
O' seraph unkind
Obfuscated I stand
aboard obelisk grand
Else, delirious I topple down
Croon I, in hallows around
Bounce back, with zillion counts
Itches the naked veracity
Silences it my though-less verbosity

Part II
Nerve-wrecking sends shivers
From time to time
collates it my doomed flesh
surrendering to its fate
initiates a virulent epilepsy
neurosis of a unique variety
born in an experienced mind
expansively innervating
leaving me often fazed
and horribly afraid

Left unattended
a monster would soon debouch
Crimson shall splash all around
Lick would it then the hounds
End this turmoil
O' seraph unkind
sprinkle the magic dust
and heal my wound.
