Now And Then Poem by Cristina Geanta

Now And Then

Now is so close to then
It's not a match, but war
Easy to fight for when
You know you'll win by far

'So, let's go out' you said
In just another day
You hoping to be saved
Me hoping you would stay

I must have saved you then
You won at my expense
It made you whole again
It left me no defense

Then was the time I learned
Trust can be used both ways
Now I know rules don't bend
Even in rainy days
