Nothing Of Me Poem by jen capaldi

Nothing Of Me

Rating: 3.7

There is nothing left
It has all been stripped away
All except for my tears
And the memories that you've left me
My heart's been torn apart
Where it was is now an empty void
I'm now alone in this impenetrable space
Crying naked on the floor
My tears won't stop falling
They pool all around me
All I can hear are my tears
They resound a tiny splash
That echoes through this empty place
Every tear that falls
Extanguinates who I used to be
As my emotions drain away
Numbness is setting in
I'm stuggling to breath
I begin to realize
That without you
There is nothing left of me

You have such a fascinating command of the English language, destined to blossom and splash perfumes, not tears, That I have noticed, Jen!

My heart's been torn apart Where it was is now an empty void I'm now alone in this impenetrable space Crying naked on the floor................................ tears glean in eyes from core cry resounds over soul by the void, ......... most heart wrenching soliloquy that saddens deep wresting peace from within, brazen arrogance of fate plays its roll of ruining mirth and turning apart from room of repose, ecstasy crunches deep being soaked in pain, yet most poignant utterly passionate by sorrow in alienation, wrought ingenious by the imagery yet tearful 10++++, thanks for sharing
