Nothing Is More Important Poem by Hebert Logerie

Nothing Is More Important

Nothing is more important
Than the air we breathe
Money is simply a token
We can live without money.

All you see is vanity
Beautiful cars and houses
Beautiful verses and songs
All will be lost one day in the past.

Pretty and lovely women
Die and we all wail or cry
Money is just a token
It is better to save our soul.

The clean air we breathe
Is essential and important
We waste our life and time
To beat ourselves like monkeys.

All you see belongs to the ungrateful
When God whistles oboes and clarions
All will leave without dress and without pants
In mid-winter, in the streets of fire and ice.

Nothing is more important
Than the air we breathe
Money is simply a token
We waste our life and time.
