Not For Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not For

Not for

Many things are unsaid
But language is aired
Many people heard
And enjoyed word by word

No one expected
She to tell what was intended
But let me explain
It was not with pain

Love was the theme
She looked at people to tell them
"Stop massacre" it is no good
The message should be understood

The women face great plight
Do they have no right?
To exist on land and expand humanity base
I read clearly in her eyes

Still she smiled
With wide opening of eye lids
It spoke of patience and tolerance
Love is only chance

Let us live
And believe
It is not for us to propagate His message
He is Omni present and why do we put him in cage?

What shall happen if all people are Moslems?
What material change it shall bring if power vested with Christians?
We shall utter "Oh God" you are supreme
Let us bath in your divine beam
