Not Enough Time Poem by Ernesto Torres

There is never enough time
especially for me
it should be a crime,
but that is not what i see

It seems like a joke
that has been played on me
too see how fast i croak
but that is not what i see

I have felt pain
and love the same
i seem in vain,
but that is not what i see

I see a chance to be
as much as i can be
to live and leave a mark
that can spark

For the future people of the planet
that will read my sonnets
and for a second
live in a life that didn't have enough time
