Eternal Sleep Poem by Ernesto Torres

Eternal Sleep

My eyes grow heavy
from all that heavies
my tired soul
from the world making me a fool

Wanting to fall into a eternal sleep
so far and so deep
that i will never return
to this place that burns

Its so tempting, it is
to leave this place i will never miss
and go to a better place,
but its not a race

So i have to endure
this world of the in-pure
and one day
i will lay

In my eternal sleep
