Not A Trace Poem by Paul Reed

Not A Trace

We wage war
With only a wisp of smoke
Shout and scream
A reaction to provoke;

We are unseen, a nothingness
A phantom vacuum race,
And when we are gone it will be forever
Behind us leave not a trace.
