None Of Your Business Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

None Of Your Business

Rating: 4.0

My music is deafening.
What is it to you?
Maybe it's to block out you.
You and your stupid questions.
Or maybe because I like it.
Why do you care?
No, I don't you need to be my mother,
saying the music will make me go deaf.
You wonder why I have my headphones in.
why should I tell you?
It's none of your business.

The juxtaposition of energetic youth and worldly experience is a very delicate balancing act. I have been a teenager, had teenagers and am now well into the other end of the scale. It's tough on both sides, Good luck my friend. Keep writing.
