Noncomformity Poem by Alyssa Lippi

Noncomformity

Rating: 3.0

He wants her
to not be her
to give up
the black hair
the eye liner
the skinny jeans
to not speak her opinions
to willingly put a symbolic muzzle over her lips
to be bright, , cheery
his definition of happiness
Does he not realize...
that she IS happy
that she LOVES her ife
She fights to make him understand
to make him see
that happiness is not
blond hair
cheerleading
huge smiles
pink shirts
mini skirts
That happiness is on the inside
that her heart is truly happy
that for the first time in her life
she doesn't have to be fake
And he doesn't see...

Okay, good-your points are clear enough and reassuring for whom they relate.
