Endless Poem by Alyssa Lippi

Endless

Rating: 4.7

Sleep never comes for her
not anymore
her mind runs
, , like an old clock, ,
never resting
exhaustion touches her eyes
a smile rarely touches her lips
silently taking in the world around her
She weeps inside
all alone she must face the troubles
she, , everyday, , encounters
All she wants is one person
to care
to mean it
And sleep
but it never comes

Sleepless nights bother you a lot specially when you are lonely. Nicely done.

Alyssa: Here I believe you have hit a Home Run in the world of poetry. Endless sleep usually goes along with a never-ending lovers quarrel. A very good write. Your friend Lynn
