I lift my heart
I have no words, only hues
No words will do
What I have, I raise to you

I raise my spirit!
and with it that deep, keen ache
A sum of pain and mistake
My burdens I, lay down to you

I lift my heart and start to feel it
I raise my spirit to sweet and fierce relief
Then a tender release, beyond creed or belief
You live within me,
and I in you
In you I am made free
and strength receive anew
