No War Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No War

No war

The powerful nations talk of war
Prepare for worst and go too far
The public is not taken into consideration
The tragedy of Nagasaki and Hiroshima is fresh in relation

Why can't they talk about avoiding?
And rather think of aiding
The poor people to address poverty
And bring the prosperity

It is their weak mentality
That pushes them to acquire an extra territory
it is either done on the basis of religion
Or by tormenting trouble in the region

How come they will think?
And Sink
The differences that are their own creation
And aimed at deteriorating the relation

Now it is hidden war by other nations
The weapons are rushed for law and order problems
Daily soldiers die for the defense of motherland
But we find no end

It is agreed that wars are fought with scientific induction
Daily there is improvement in destructive weapons
There is no move to curb pollution
And to address the environmental confusion

No War

Gregory Danowski The further away from the killing man advances himself thru remote machines, the more impersonal war becomes and therefore more dangerous. But no one agrees to a gentleman’s duel in war, there are no rules in the end since the enemy is usually demoted to less than civilized and often less than human. Like · Reply · 1
