Not giving into your hatred,
I don’t want your betrayal,
I am told life is not worth it,
But what is life then?
Nothing will be wasted,
Not this life, not this time,
Smiling just to hide,
Lying to just stay fine,
To myself and everyone,
I love how my mistakes,
They always get the best of me,
And your mistakes,
They break me down,
Even though they’re yours,
Yet they tear at me,
Like a cannibal chasing me through the night,
Brought into my life is worry,
Stop, smile, at least you’re being you.
