He abandoned my hands blank and
whispered in my ears, 'no one dies! '

Kept a hope alive in my heart and
told me slowly, 'can't make it happen! '

tricked him to continue talking to me
I made up and murmured, ' can't hear you well! '

dismayed on his faithlessness in love
gently I affirmed, 'you're not the one for me! '

He crossed all borders to conquer me
but a strayed me uttering, ' can't love you unconditionally! '

We brought all dreams to an end
thinking, 'it's not my choice! '

dragged myself to play a game of love
acclaiming, 'I am truly in love with you! '

I poured out all what was in my heart,
imagining, ' I am meant to be with you! '
