A Wishing Star Poem by Asma Khan

A Wishing Star

Rating: 5.0

I was a crystal moon on a blue sky,
you were my twilight in a dark night.

I was a wanderer in the forests of love,
you were my path to a calming end.

I was a blooming flower of the spring,
You were the nectar I ever owned.

I was a calm sea of emotions in this life,
You were the whirl that rippled me.

I was a dim twilight of the moon,
You were my wishing star of the sky.

I was a long deep sleep of a child,
You were the dream in my eyes.

I was a lonely walker in the hot deserts,
You were my shade in the flaming heat.

I was just ME in this life forever,
You ARE my prayer in the silence of all pains! ! !
