No Longer -We- Poem by Arthur V. Miller III

No Longer -We-

You say Im like the rest since I did the best.

You said Ive changed but everyone that really bothered to know me knows I'm still the same.

You said I was a mistake that should of never been made but I say you were my reason i had to change, just a little...

Lifes decisions are a mystery and I guess we were never meant to be.

Everything is a chance but I guess youd never understand.

Lifes a game that we guess at. You guessed who I was but never tried to really ask me who I am?

When you tell why this is no longer, you tell half the truth, when I say why, I tell the truth at a pace.

Not everyone needs to know you said, but you told the world everything -WE- said.

The relationship never was, but a joke that should of never been played.

Look what weve done to each other, enemies, but your makers only know half the truth to your lies.

Lifes a shame when your lies make you who you are today and poisons break you during the nights.

I shine no light on your lights and my makers do not judge me for the decision I made.

It justifies my morales for my new mate, which will no longer be you.

Let the poisons burn through your thick skull and to your skin, black will crack sooner than you think...
