I think of you
I wrote you
You never called
You never wrote
I write you once in a while
I try to be nice
You never knew
The pain I went through

The neighbors complain
The fellow rail
About who I'm not
They leave me to wail

I'm all alone
You're never at home
It's a lonely life
I think of you
Night and Day
Day and Night

I see people I like.
Talk and say hello.
Don't get too close.
That's not good, you know.

It's okay that you
are far away.
I feel safer somehow
that way.
