New To Me Poem by Sara Panicali

New To Me

Rating: 4.0

Tick tock went the clock
And so did Johnny Bottomrock.

Ding dong went the tap,
And there stood big sweet Mother Black.

Clip clop went the horse's hop
And there rode Old Joe Knickerbock.

Oh my, oh me this town is new to me
Said Little Miss Mary Fussbee

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, thats really going over the top but it is funny and a lot more light hearted from your usual stuff. Its nice to see you got the sunshine.

An awesome lyric! Hey! hey! You wrought the wonder with poem. I like onomatopoeia or imitation of sounds as did with clock and horse. Check poems feels the same rhythm.. 'Tick tock went the clock And so did Johnny Bottomrock.' Hands off! Hands went up!
