New People And Friends Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

New People And Friends

Rating: 5.0

I shall do nothing
But stare at something
To memorize
For old past to oblige

I have no desire
To get admiration
For whatever I did in past
It was beautifully cast

The lovely empire is built
It is giving some satisfaction and felt
It is for now children to follow
Not allowing past to dimply glow

Yes I shall love to smile and trace
On family member’s face
That they lived with comfort and care
I shall have every reason to feel better

As do all the people
I have built it with great struggle
Not knowing what it involved
But yes it was beautifully solved

I have reached dead end
But can find lots of friends around
They appreciate and praise
All my efforts not in waste

I shall dream no more
I shall also desire nothing
Let me fly away to far off land
Where I may need new people and friends
