Never Same Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Never Same

Never same

He wrote and called again
-this man is genius
-but wasted

Things happen when currents
-keep running and going
-downstream

The stone fallen in, will sure change
-the format and pictures will differ
-if compared at start, in middle
-all the way to the end

And he talked of social
-fast moving changes of
-the young ones in Iran

'Ignore the mullahs' laws, and Pasdars! '
-he said so ‘explicit, implicit'
- 'Earth rotates and with it come changes! '

He is right
He is right
He is right

As the world keeps ageing,
-till end comes, it stops
-each movement brings change
-nobody dares to say:
- 'Twice I crossed the same river.'

No, never
No, never
No, never

The waves change
-sizes change
-as does age
-with seconds

Therefore, the science too
-is wrong and incorrect
-nothing can, will ever
-be repeated the same

Same maybe dimensions
-possibly the sizes, rotations
-time changes…so not same

Therefore he, his comments
-of mullahs and their laws

Are correct
Are correct
Are correct

But changes will take own
-pace and path, directions
-neither is Russian nor USA's

Two trees of walnuts
-or cherries, apricots
-or maples or cedars
-can be cut at same time
-planted at same time
-be fed same and watered
-in same air and weather

But never they are same
Can never remain same
Won't ever be the same

No, never
No, never
No, never

And mullahs in Iran
-unlike those in Mecca
-or ones in Al-Zahra
-are devils who have fought
-for ages on all sides
-religion, politics of Koran,
-power and fun and wealth
-they made up 'The Sigheh'
-expanded ownership; concubines
-added lines if needed to become a legal

Concubine is modern; girlfriends on the side
-one wife and second and third and fourth
-they make the rules of game; they are devil
