Never In The Few Little Words Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

Never In The Few Little Words

Only in a few little words
Could explain the simple minds of man
Never, I hear them say
Knowledge should be banned
But limiting our education that the government shall make
Their stupidity that spilled the juice from a genius' cup
They should wear shirts that states
I'm With Stupid with an arrow pointing up!

Only in a few little words
Could explain a complexity of people's brains
Never, I could understand the gears and levers in their heads
Surely just trying to, I'll go insane
But what mysteries remain once it was all solved
All the years of thinking they've finally received a golden plaque
But, when knowledge brims and youth dissolve
The Philosopher Exclaims, Why Didn't I Think of That! !

Only in a few little words
Could create such conflict and resolve
Never, I could relate to the exaggerating effects of drama
To see women piling up on the love seats when Jersey Shore comes on
The fact I empathized certain words to get my point across
Yet they are as ignorant as they are deaf when their boyfriends call
The TV controls her, when the program is on
Wiping away a tear she asks, Does He See Her Feelings After All?

Only in a few little words
Could create hatred and anger in a formation called war
Never, I could blame the shame on the youth
No point the finger to the leaders who chose this path of gore
Are these actions for greed, jealousy, and power?
What was all the fighting for?
Words that speak in a bloody shower
