My Tree Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

My Tree

Plant her in earth
For she'll grow
Until a bird sings on her birch
Wait till the time tows

Waiting for her birth
Seasons will pass by in a glimpse
Until a bird sing on her birch
Still all I see is twigs coming from earth

Still the seasons pass me by
Giving her what she thrives
Until a bird sings on her pirch
Giving her the sun and the moon I comply

Yet years pass on
My tree blooms as a ordinary
Flower. Waiting for a bird to sing a song
She will not be in solitary

No, she has her place on earth
You will be becides nature
Birds sing because of her birth
For us and them she will nourish
