Nature Memories Poem by Julianna Marie Claire

Nature Memories

Rating: 3.8

Flowers blooming in the grass,
Birds are chirping in the sky
I wish this moment would always last,
But life must go on- it must go by-
Under the warmth of an afternoon glow,
Basking in the aura of amity
As tadpoles swim in the cool depths below
Of a creek devoid of childhood calamity.
Where the cool breeze shifts only the grass of the shire,
-The tranquil melody of the wildflowers-
In a way the world could not ignore
So that every minute is evoked- every hour.
Clear skies lay above in a reflection of my soul
Whilst the world fills up my emptiness until it is whole.
