I Am The Rock That You Passed By Poem by Julianna Marie Claire

I Am The Rock That You Passed By

Rating: 5.0

I Am the rock that you Passed by
-In the Pursuit of a Bright gem.
For it is the natural Inclination of mankind
To Hurry after them.
Perhaps someday, you shall turn around,
And-upon Good Look-you'll find:
The same Patient rock waiting there
-Though not the Prettiest of its kind.
Or you shall stumble across a diamond
Of whose Love you both shall share,
And forget the Rock that you passed by
Patiently waiting there

This poem is very powerful. I had exactly the same feeling the other day, one of those moments when you wish the person you saw was the person you would want it to be.
