National Wildlife Day Poem by Walterrean Salley

National Wildlife Day

All the little furry creatures
Living in the wild
Rabbit, squirrel, chipmunk
And each its little child

Has its place in life;
The Lord has made it so
From bird to grizzly bear
The croc, the worm, the doe.

Within their own world,
They survive as best they can
In a different habitat-
A world unknown to man.

* September 4th of each year is National Wildlife Day.
