Myths Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Myths

I found a strange rose yesterday
Blazing red and flecks of white
It spoke of endless love and strife
Made from Psyche's blood
When she and Cupid first made love
She is made of curiosity and lust
She had to know or go bust
Flesh and free will her sisters
They were in Greece A-listers
Made from God and Matter
Twas a union of soul and God

I heard an Echo yesterday
She cried in the mountains
And the deep plains
She cried for a lost love divine
Her curiosity got the better of her
Narcissis she tried to define
He left her promptly at the time
Fell in love with himself he did
And never again did Echo's bid

Strange tales of yore
That bear resemblance
To our life's encore
Meet and part
And part and meet
Will history just repeat?
