My World Was Happier Yesterday. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

My World Was Happier Yesterday.

'Mommy, why don't you open your eyes again?
Daddy, If we live this way, no one is going to gain

Will we meet again someday?
My World was happier yesterday.
I'd trade my weapon for your love,
Help me! If both of you, live in the sky above.'
