I wish to be there when you arrive home from work.
To embrace you and kiss you warm. Run your bath,
Make you comfortable before night fall.
Fill your belly with love before closing your eyes to sleep.
I wish to take this leap
My lap yearns to hold your head
As you fall into deep sleep.
As I run my finger tips through your hair.
So contented you are to finally be home
In this love nest of our own
I know you wish for this too
Soon my love our wishes will all come true
