My Toy Ferris Wheel Was Lost Poem by Vera Sidhwa

My Toy Ferris Wheel Was Lost

My Toy Ferris Wheel Was Lost

Today I cried a flood.
No one found my lost toy.
My little ferris wheel
Was an incredible joy.

I stopped all play.
This lasted all day.
This ferris wheel never did show.
And this taunted me so.

But the next day was so different.
I had just lost it in my yard.
It was turning around on it's own!
And oh what a joy this was.
