My Tears Poem by Pat Knight

My Tears

Each tear is a release of pain.
They flood the floor like heavy rain.
The memories gather in a small lakes.
Reminding me of past mistakes.
Water flowing into streams.
Takes away past golden dreams.
White water tumbling very quick.
Emotions mixed up made feel sick.
Rapids twist and turn my thoughts.
Pain relief some comfort of sorts.
Mind unsure where to go.
Meandering flats tears run slow.
Cry for help sent delta wide.
Ocean of tears where we all try to hide.
Shouting out to release the pain.
Tearfull eyes dry again.
