My Pain Poem by Alyshia Renee Parker

i walk down the road, opposite side of my friends. i can't walk with them cause i am surrounded with darkness.

i lose all hope in life as a sharpe pain shoots through my heart and body. all my friends laugh and joke about what went on that day at school.

i get home and see that i am alone. so i go up stairs and just sit on my bed and stare at the wall.

i look at my phone and see that my friend is going on her first date. i hold back tears and tell her to have fun.

my friend gets home and hands me an enveolope with a certain guy's name on it. i open it up and read his letter. as i read the letter to myself, i notice that the pain in my heart and body has lessend. this guy mkes my pain shrink. i am so happy that my pain is not permanent. yes the pain is still there, but one his letters are in my hand...the pain is lessend.
