My Message Poem by Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone

My Message

Take it along as you go!
You that care and them can see.
Tell them that this gathering cloud
Is not of showers of blessings,
But as of the days
Of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Tell them to stop being rain makers but good lawmakers.
Tell them to stop being warmongers but peacemakers.
Tel them;
Tell them all to pray that this cloud should melt…

Sinister,
Dark sinister,
Things ominous lurk there in the sky.
Tell them to ponder ‘cause it shall be like wonder.
Fire, Brim-stones, Burning sulfur
Thunderbolts is about to fall!

I fear for: The people;
The nation; O! My Father land!
From the closet of my little ghetto room,
I say Maximum respect to you
That takes my message as you go.
