Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone Poems

We both rear poultry.
Yes, you reared your own,
And I reared my own.
Mine you served your guest
...

I am free
But a slave
In my father’s cave.
All my rights thrown to dogs;
...

Don’t you look at me that way.
Aren’t your days happier than mine?
You sing you flap you peck
And though the busy boy’s ball
...

He is here!
No, there he is.
No, yet to come.
No, come and gone!
...

From the beginning of the beginnings
All I am is black and blackened;
For this, I’ve had reproachful loves.
...

Blessed is the substance that substantiated me
Blessed is the passage through which my entrance made
Blessed is the milk that freely fed my infant mouth
Blessed is the mouth that sweetly sung the lullaby
...

I looked and I saw.
Behold! Beneath a stake,
A man grunting to death.
Not a transgressor of the law
...

No doubt,
You’ve been the protector
Of my ancestors
In times immemorial
...

Long time ago they were, yet, today
Many seasons ago they were
They speak today
Though gone for long.
...

Take it along as you go!
You that care and them can see.
...

Consolidate! Consolidate!
Consolidate; till you make me late

Remembered what you told me yesterday?
...

I love it
When you look to my eyes and smile.
I love it
When you say you love me.
...

Drummers drumming
Vocalists echoing
Dance ozighizagha.
Caught in the
...

I know of a place
Yes, deep within; it's no play.
Where fields forever grow,
where clean springs forever flow,
...

I was the host, for he came to my post
To tell of a home above where all are doves.
The story has been told and millions in the fold.
Let your steps be bold, so you'll be of the household of gold.
...

They said I should groan
Before the throne
But I moaned
Before His Throne.
...

Let the trumpet sounds greet the day
And men and beasts to clear the way
Roll out the carpet on the way
Let merry-makers come and play
...

Your father didn't tel you the truth,
and oh, your mother did sold out the truth!
And now you're worse than the brutes
because you dance to deadly tunes
...

Birds, dancing on a bush path
Their drummers in the bush near
They dance doom's day's dance:
Drummers won't stop, for they mean death
...

The silent heaven, says the elders,
Indicates not the god of thunder is dead:
At the time appointed, he shall speak!

The Best Poem Of Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone

Be Satisfied.

We both rear poultry.
Yes, you reared your own,
And I reared my own.
Mine you served your guest
But you have your own
And I have my own.

Great farmers we are.
Yes, you farmed your own,
And I farmed my own.
My yams taste better in your mouth
But you have your own
And I have my own.

From the jungle, to the oil mill we went.
Yes, you milled your own,
And I milled my own.
My oil served all the labourers
But you have your own
And I have my own.

We both have wives.
Yes, you married your own,
And I married my own.
Mine captures your attention most
But you have your own
And I have my own.

We all must die someday.
Yes, you are to die your own,
And I am to die my own.
But because you have your own,
And I have my own,
You always wanting and taking my own,
You must first die your own,
And thereafter die my own
In second death
For you were never satisfied
With your own.

Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone Quotes

When passion assails you, heed the voice of wisdom...

Believe you can, and you're set to move mountains...

There is nothing like being yourself, knowing you're one of a kind...

When it was small they called it 'Monkey' but now it's grown big and old, world people say it's no more 'Monkey', but 'Baboon'. That's an evil...

That you hope less doesn't mean you are hopeless; you're only guarding against dashed hopes
