My Maker Poem by greg richardson

My Maker

I do not deny my maker -
I am my maker.
I awoke
and life was mine
I soon learned
I was divine
And all of you
are my creation
made to entertain
or suffer damnation.
This age old brain
tricks itself
into believing
it's someone else
But when the realization comes
I renew my faith
in myself
and grant equality
to those who've helped.
