My Lysa Poem by Shan Sloan

My Lysa

She wakes up each morning
with a big smile and says 'mom'.
My heart melts as I lay there
looking into her beautiful eyes.

She stares back at mine,
holding me with her little arms.
Watching her grow each day,
making her happy to be mine.

Oh how I love my Lysa bear,
Oh how I know she is a blessing

She says she is hungry,
I tell her whatever you want my amore.
She knows she get it all,
She knows because I adore her out of all.

She is my baby, she is my love
I can't say no, I cant know how.
But discipline will come,
punishment awaits.

Oh how I can't say never,
Oh how I can't say whenever

She is an angel, she is an innocent
She may cry when she don't get
But that's a lesson, that's a learn
it hurts my heart, but she needs to earn.

She is so dear, she is so sweet
makes you wonder how God so willing
He is not weak, he will show you
This is how I know my little one.

Oh how I know,
Oh how I'm so thankful
