My Life Poem by Annie Stotts

I live my life day by day
There is one person who always knows what to say
He is the special person in my life
I will one day be his wife
My life was not the best
God always put me to the test
I never gave up on life
So many times I wanted to end it with aknife
I could never do right
The rules with my dad was always so tight
I have been through things that would make a person go insane
Now I just walk through the rain
I grew up so young
I listened everytime a sad song was sung
I watched alcohol turn people bad
He would always get so mad
I was always there
The fears I could never share
I was at a young age
I would run and hide when he went into a rage
I have had many heartbreaks
The pain I though I could not take
My life made me stronger
Because of God I live another day longer
Now I have a truley special love
God picked him out for me from above
