My Life Poem by Natalie Beers

I was broken beyond repair.
I never thought I would love again,
I thought I would only hate.
Hate the next guy that came into my life,
but that next guy turned out to be you.
You opened my eyes to how love could be,
you showed me I could have a happy relationship,
without the brusies.
You were always so gentle,
I could tell you were the one from the moment you said I love you.
Even though your a few hundred miles away we will be together again.
I promise to be yours forever,
to love you until the day I die.
I promise to stay true,
to keep away from other temptations.
I know you are it for me.
I thank God everyday I have you in my life.
You will be my life,
for the rest of my life.
