My Indian Man Poem by Pam DeLoach Darby

My Indian Man

Rating: 5.0

Cherokee blood
mixed with chickasaw
wonder what you get
if anything at all

you remind me of a warrior
with a mighty feather crown
who can take a knife to anyone
and make them eat the ground

you walk with a proud stance
you smile with glory eyes
I am proud to have you
by my bleeding side

come to me my warrior
and I will be your all
I will stay with your red blood
thru thick and thin and all
