My Hometown Poem by Tammie Thrasher

My Hometown

in my hometown,
everybody knows everybody,
everbody knows what's going around.

my hometown is small, and you can leave your doors unlocked at night,
and still feel snug and tight.

in my hometown,
we meet our friends at the skating rink on saturdays,
and laugh at each other when we fall down.

in my hometown, we all love each other,
and would do anything to help another.

in my hometown,
we go to the creek for a swim,
and the bracelet you left there last week...will be found.

_____________ is a fun, smalltown,
full of friendly down-to-earth people.
it's where i was raised, it's my hometown! !
