Tammie Thrasher Poems

Your friendship is true,
you're always there for me when i'm down or blue.

Dancing around, singing in the rain,
...

in my hometown,
everybody knows everybody,
everbody knows what's going around.
...

You give me that special feeling that I’ve never felt before.
You’re all I want- Nothing less, nothing more.
...

We're laying on the hood of your car,
staring at the stars.
I got a funny feeling in my heart,
and butterflies in my tummy.
...

She is my best friend,
she is my friend to the very end.

She can have an attitude,
...

I'm still your angel
I'm still your baby girl.
Don't let go
Don't lose hope
...

I know we live so far apart
but you're still my daddy
I still look up to you
And I'm still your little baby
...

If I could go back and change a few things, I would.
I’d change that boy’s mind if I could.

He stole my heart, and broke it in two.
...

Love like crazy

That’s our song.
...

My country boy is my king
he is my butterbean
my country boy loves me
he has a heart sweeter than Granny's tea
...

I want to jump off the ground
And fly into the clouds
God, give me wings
I need to go see my great granny
...

You’re in my mind, all the time.

You’re in my dreams, as crazy as it seems.
...

I will stand for you
I will fall for you
I will cry for you
I will die for you
...

Hold me tight in your arms,
dont ever let me go.
Love me with all your heart,
Dont be a walk-away Joe.
...

I thank God for life.
I thank God for his love.
I thank God for everything he has blessed me with.
I thank God for eternal bliss.
...

I can't live without you
I can't say goodbye
I will never give up
I want to be with you until we die
...

This poem is about having the strength and faith to hold on to your love that is far away. Long distance relationships take a lot of work and 'How To' is a poem that i wrote about finding the ways to make it last!

You taught me how to love.
You taught me how to trust.
...

Sunshine, come out.
Sunshine, don't hide.
Sunshine, never pout.
Sunshine, be my guide.
...

I don’t wear bows and headbands
I don’t wear a spray on tan
I don’t wear dresses once a week
I don’t wear heels on my feet
...

It all started with a simple opportunity for a chance.
A promise to never be hurt.
A promise to never be left alone.
A promise that I held in my heart, resting in your hand.

Long-Distance Friendship

Your friendship is true,
you're always there for me when i'm down or blue.

Dancing around, singing in the rain,
and all of the friendship we've yet to gain.

So many years spent together,
I will never forget them, never, ever.

The long road ahead is looking bright,
and everyone knows we'll put up a fight.

You're the missing piece to my shattered heart,
and it hurts that we live so far apart.

Our friendship is now stronger than ever,
we've been through so many hard times together.

We've changed and grew up in different places,
but it's all good, we know that nobody will ever replace us.

I haven't seen you in a while,
i miss seeing that warm sweet smile.

Our friendship will remain true,
and you'll always be the one i call when i'm down or blue.
