My Heritage Poem by Matt Starking

My Heritage

Rating: 4.3

My heritage is a rich tapestry
Of stories, cultures, and history
It's the land of my ancestors, who
Lived and loved and worked so hard

The stories of their struggles, their joys
The courage and strength that they employed
I'm proud of the legacy they left behind
And the strength that I share in their kind

A heritage of courage, of resilience
A people with a will to survive
It's a legacy of strength and pride
That I carry with me all my life

I thought and thought and thought before voting 3 stars; I almost gave 3 1/2, but, you know, PH doesn't allow it. Maybe if you had included , or humor/humour, and/or mystery I would have gone for 4. ;)

'in their kind': I think you mean 'in a similar way' as your ancestors had strength. I guess you had a lot of strength in your family, as you mentioned it x3. : )))
