My love for you is like a rose,
Ever blooming, never fades.
Though we've faced some troubled woes,
My heart still in your shades.

I couldn't stop loving you,
If I tried with all my might.
My heart and soul still clings to you,
In the darkness of the night.

We weren't perfect, that is true,
But what love is ever so?
I regret the things I said and did,
That caused our love to go.

I'm sorry for the hurt I caused,
In my anger and my pain.
But the thought of you not by my side,
Cuts through my heart like a chain.

I hold on to every memory,
Of you and all we shared.
For without you by my side,
I am but half a pair.

Though others may come and go,
You'll always be my one.
I'll love you till the end of time,
Till my heart beats are done.
