I remember that night
i got the call, 'there was an accident'
he's gone she cried
pronounced dead on sight

I felt the life draining out of me
it cant be....

We were friends you and i
your blue eyes shining a smile so bright
but you left this world... me without a goodbye

Tears rolling down my cheeks
uncontrollably
my body shaking..

At the church all our friends gathered
to show respect and let you know to us you mattered

A song was singed dedicated to you and i manage to keep it in
but my heart just broke
at the sight of your sister reading a poem she wrote

Never will we forget the light you brought in our lives
making it interesting with a joke and a surprise

So now we part you and i
goodbye my friend, goodbye
