There is a dim light
But its still there
It's a thread of hope
It's a breath of air

It's a slight chance
Of what could be
It's all or nothing
Or everything

Just a little bit
Of life as lived
By all of us
Or the ones that give

To the heartbeat
Floating in the sky
It will make us laugh
It will make us cry

It's the essence
Of this whole world
Started by a beat
Carried by the girl

She is my sunrise
She is my sunset
She is my darling girl
She is my deepest depth
