Upon this earth I felt no part

I hid inside my broken heart

My grief it tore my mind asunder

And tedium it took me under


I lived a life so drab and dreary

It nade me dull and all so weary

I had no friends, I had no soul

As loneliness it took its toll


My life became an endless struggle

I was a wreck, my brain befuddled

I was sad and all so blue

Until the day that I met you


You were my saviour, you talked to me

And showed me how my life should be

You made me smile, you made me glad

You showed me life is not so bad


You gave me hope, right from the start

You helped mend my broken heart

I was enchanted by your charm

I felt so contented in your arms


Desire you brought which I thought was gone

Feelings I now have, and emotion so strong

No loneliness now, no sense of hate

I have found my perfect soulmate


Someone to love, and a friend for life

You took away my pain and strife

My knight in shining armour its true

For you came to my emotional rescue
