My Decision 2 Poem by Fadhlihan Bin Mydin

The yearn for freedom kept growing
It grows covering my my mind and my heart
But something's holding me back
It is my mind, my weak mind
But i kept thinking about freedom
This i cannot decide
Freedom or family
Then i had a change of heart
cause i kept thinking
Should i jump to another boat
No, i should hold both
Both my family and freedom
As i write this
I was thinking of holding them both
But i must thread the thread carefully
cause if i don't
disaster strikes
But such is the life
the tragic life of mine
the life of an apostate
