My Conviction Poem by Fadhlihan Bin Mydin

My Conviction

I look around me
And i wonder
Does god exist
or is he my imagination
I look at the sky
I look at the road
And i look at life
I see Everything
But i cannot see him
And I cannot feel him
And i can't conclude for his existence
Why should i when i cannot see him
Why should i when i cannot feel him
Is his existence is nothing but an illusion
I look at evolution
And my conviction grew stronger
stronger then a rock
as firm as a building
why should he exist
When evil does

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a strory about my conclusion about God. I'm a born muslim and raised as a strict muslim, all of my foundation as a muslim got shaken when i started to read the quran, i can't seem to remember but there is a verse that got me doubt about islam and that is about angels and demons. It got worse when i started to visit faithfreedom.org that made me unable to pray at all. Then, i wanted to have my own argument to which can be found at my poem.
