My Dandy Lines Poem by Abigail Pastor

My Dandy Lines

Rating: 5.0

My dandy lines grow fair and bright
With some space and a shot of light
My cheerful field yields joy and pleasure
One man's nuisance transformed into treasure

Glorious and golden they give
Words to me, bold and allusive
A tapestry of rich yellow ink
I stand, I gaze, I breathe, and then I sink

Pleasantly their tiny seeds fly
Ideas float up and multiply
Let my neighbors looks down their noses
I prefer weeds to their thorny roses

This is great, I prefer the yellow weeds too :) Your words clearly paint the beauty you see in them.

Interesting last lines but the poem holds its theme well. Very good word choices and creative imagery, remarkably written to convey a meaningful message and the witty Dandy Lines title -dandelions of poetry.10++++++++
